Alcaidesa Links Course
_

 Select
Alcaidesa is unlike any other course in the Costa del Sol, as it is the only links golf course in Spain. Set in the lovely rolling countryside of the western Costa del Sol with breathtaking views of the Mediterranean, across to the Rock of Gibraltar and Morocco's Atlas mountains beyond. Alcaidesa golf course runs along the edge of the Mediterranean with four beachside holes where there is no escaping the silence. It is not all low-lying, there are some windswept heights offering some different challenges. The wide fairways are bordered by gorse and heather, catching any wayward shots, with immaculate greens that are not too large or tricky.

Alferini (Gran Flamingos)
_

 Select
In autumn 2007 Los Flamingos Golf opened their second golf course, the Gran Flamingos Course. This new addition keeps all the superb design features of the old course whilst stretching out to over 7,200 yards from the back tees, well within a championship course criteria. With some tough questions asked, testing all the clubs in the bag this is a highly recommended course, especially for mid and low handicap golfers.

Almenara Golf Club
_

 Select
Almenara Golf Resort is situated in an enclave of upper Sotogrande between Valderrama and San Roque. The Almenara golf course has three loops of nine which wind their way though natural parkland and is surrounded by extensive vegetation of pine and cork oak trees and two lakes that have been integrated perfectly into the course design as well as several streams. Golfers can enjoy impressive views of the Mediterranean Sea and the hills that surround the golf resort. The 27 holes can be divided to offer different combinations of 18 holes with each variation presenting new challenges for the golfers.

La Quinta
_

 Select
La Quinta Golf Course offers 27 superb golf holes designed by Manuel Pinero, three time world champion and Ryder Cup player. The three loops of nine holes have been cleverly integrated into the natural landscape to produce not only a beautiful looking but a quality golf course that allows golfers to vary the 18 hole combinations to offer fresh challenges. Each 9 hole course serves up a different challenge but whichever holes you play, you can be sure of a fair but demanding test of all departments of your golf game. The courses are technically demanding with narrow, sloping fairways and plenty of hazards to negotiate before reaching the fast, undulating greens which more often than not are guarded by deep faced bunkers.

Los Flamingos - Old Course
_

 Select
Los Flamingos Golf Course is a relatively new course to the Costa del Sol situated within easy reach of Marbella and Puerto Banus. Opened in 2001, it has already attained a well-deserved reputation for the high level of quality it offers and for having been, for three consecutive years the venue for the 'The Daily Telegraph European Seniors' Match Play Championship' Final. Set in beautiful natural surroundings, the par-71 Flamingos course, designed by the prestigious golf course architect Antonio Garcia Garrido is characterized by its carefully conserved landscaping, with a large variety of trees and beautiful views of the Mediterranean.

Los Naranjos
_

 Select
Los Naranjos Golf is a traditional style golf course located in Marbella's golf valley. The course belongs to a select group of golf courses on the Costa del Sol designed by world famous golf architect Robert Trent Jones and was built at a time when suitable land was still available. A special Trent Jones Sr. trademark are the long "runway" tees that makes it possible to set up the course different from day to day, as well as wide fairways, strategically placed bunkers and water hazards and large, undulated greens, where you are often faced with difficult shots into the greens with trouble never too far away.

Rio Real
_

 Select
Rio Real Golf Course is one of the oldest courses in Marbella and it has stood the test of time remarkably well as it is still one of the best examinations of golf on the Costa del Sol. Situated in a beautiful valley between the Mediterranean Sea and the mountains with a great variety of pines and palm trees. The course is a traditional design with some tight driving holes which are lined with mature pines left and right, however there are lots of opportunities to open your shoulders on the par fives.

San Roque - New Course
_

 Select
2002 saw work begin on the construction of The New Course, a second championship golf course at the San Roque Club. The new world class golf course, was aimed to complement The Old Course, while presenting a different challenge. The designs, by the renowned American course designer Perry Dye, incorporate the contours of the San Roque hills, giving golfers wonderful views to the Guadalquiton River and the Mediterranean Sea beyond. The idea was to create a new course that is a challenge for scratch and low handicap golfers but that is also possible for higher handicap players to enjoy. To that end each hole has five different tee positions and fairways that are wider than those on The Old Course.

San Roque - Old Course
_

 Select
The Old Course was originaly designed by Dave Thomas in 1990, with a redesign to the bunkers by Seve Ballesteros recently. The course's tight, sloping fairways are lined by mature cork oak trees, demanding straight, accurate driving. Strategic bunker placement and deceptive water hazards threaten all but the most precise approach shots. The greens are fast, contoured and true, rewarding well-judged putts and punishing anything else. Acknowledged for its challenge throughout Europe, The Old Course provides a test for the very highest standard of golfer. The closing holes incorporate the resort's shimmering lakes, presenting a finish as beautiful as it is challenging. Playing San Roque is something every golfer will remember.

Club de Golf Valderrama is located in the Sotogrande district of the Costa del Sol and since 1989 has proudly held the top spot on the European golf course rankings. Designed in 1974 by Robert Trent Jones Snr, one of the most influential golf course architects of the modern age and remodelled ten years later, the par-71 Championship Course measures 6,356 metres from the professional tees. No hole of this amazing golf course is less than championship quality but it can still be fully enjoyed by players of all handicaps. The fairways, described by pros and leading golf writers as the best in Europe if not the world, are tightly lined with cork oaks.
