The original course of the LPGA International --- the Champions --- was chosen by Golf Magazine as one of the nation's "Top 10 Courses to Play". The fairways are mostly wide open and have stratgeic mounding that can cause uneven lies. There are lakes and tranquil wetlands coming into play on several holes. This links-style course was built on somewhat hilly terrain. The grees are exceptionally large and undulating, and there are many sand and grass bunkers incorporated into the course's design. The most difficult hole to play for the ladies is #13, a 478-yard par-5, featuring a straightaway well-bunkered fairway and water protecting the green. Slope = 134 / **** Click on an image to enlarge
