NOTE: Close proximity to the Punta Cana Resort.
Renowned architect, Jose "Pepe" Gancedo, six-time Spanish champion, designed the course by following the lay of the land, using the natural terrain to provide a route easily remembered long after the player finishes. The trademark features are strategically-placed trees, bunkers, mounds and gently rolling terrain with well-defined and generous fairways without forgetting an unrelenting wind. The utilization of four sets of tees provides low-handicapped golfers with a course of great challenge, while beginners and intermediate players can continually improve their game in a player-friendly environment.

Of the 18 picturesque holes on the Dye Fore course, number 12 and number 15 are two of the greatest par-three holes in the world. This new addition to the Casa de Campo golf triad is said to rival the "Teeth of the Dog" course. "Dye Fore has spectacular views of the Caribbean Sea, the mountains, the Chavon River below and the Altos de Chavon artists' village" said Gilles Gagnon, Director of Golf at Casa de Campo. "Visually, this course is intimidating and the par-3s are incredible!"

Challenging. Daunting. Awesome. Those are a few of the comments you'll hear as you play your way around Guavaberry Golf and Country Club on the sunny southeast coast of the Dominican Republic. The Gary Player design team has really outdone itself this time, creating not only a golf course but a landcaping marvel. They've blended the course design flawlessly into the existing natural environment, giving the impression that the links have been part of this gently-rolling, tropical terrain from the beginning of time. Guavaberry will challenge you with its impressive waste bunkers, deep sand traps, and indigenous coral rock formations that rise up from lush fairways. Together, they make this a course not be tamed easily.

La Cana at Punta Cana Resort ($$)

Please Note: Only available to guests of the Punta Cana Resort.
The La Cana Golf Course is the spectacular new seaside golf course designed by the talented P.B. Dye of the illustrious Dye family. Fourteen holes feature breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea, and four play along the ocean itself. And in true Dye form, P.B. has crafted each hole to present its own unique challenge: sometimes infuriating, always memorable. Golf Magazine writes: "The grand par-five 18th, a gentle dogleg to the left, is clearly patterned after the famous 18th at Pebble Beach, only here the shoreline is sandier, the water bluer, and the journey from tee to green longer and more perilous".

The Links Course (Casa de Campo) ($$)

The Links course, also designed by Pete Dye, has a moderately hilly track with tall bahia and guinea grass roughs as well as plenty of sand traps to keep you on your toes. Thought by some to be reminiscent of traditional British and Scottish courses, there are several lagoons and even lakes with wading birds. There are five holes where water comes into play on this course making it a challenge unto itself.

The first of three Jack Nicklaus designed courses to grace Cap Cana, the Punta Espada course is destined to be the most eye-popping, with 13 of its 18 holes overlooking the Caribbean. Punta Espada was designed to incorporate the natural features of the landscape into its topography...the bluffs, the beach, the waterways and the jungle foliage. Enjoy spectacular sea views and close-up encounters with nature while you tackle these challenging links! The design also guarantees that golfers of all levels are accommodated, including those playing at the world championship level.
