The Gila River Indian Community has woven championship golf with rich cultural heritage to create Whirlwind Golf Club. Golf course architect, Gary Panks has designed the Devil's Claw - a masterpiece to challenge players of all levels while maintaining a sense of fairness and playability. Devil's Claw encompasses 242 acres of land comprised of 92 acres of turfed area and 150 acres of native landscape enhanced by indigenous grasses and plants, and stands of Mesquite, Saguaro, Palo Verde and Cottonwoods.
